Eagle Ranch is hosting a workshop with author, speaker and family advocate, Joshua Straub, Ph.D. on Friday, February 9, at its campus in Flowery Branch, Ga. Through his message The Five Pillars of Emotionally Intelligent Kids, Straub brings practical, everyday strategies to introduce and grow important relational skills and emotional resiliency in children.
Open to Professionals and the Public
The workshop will offer 6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for therapeutic professionals, as designated by organizations including: LPCA-GA, NASW-GA, GAMFT. Parents and those who regularly interact and work with young people may also find the workshop of interest. The event takes place Friday, Feb. 9, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Eagle Ranch’s Flowery Branch campus, 5500 Union Church Road.
The cost of the workshop is $100 for professionals wishing to submit their participation for Continuing Education Units, and $80 for the general public or professionals who do not need CEUs. The cost includes all workshop materials, a catered lunch and snacks. Straub will also have books and resources available at the event for an additional cost.
